 Unsung Heroes Can Sing Volunteer work is the heart and soul of any community. It touches many more people than we realize. This video chronicles the services provided by the Lake Country Health Planning Society in Winfield, British Columbia, Canada. It is an organization which grew from within the community. Its goal is to help those who have fallen through the gaps in our social safety nets, especially those who are alone and at risk. This program is a model for concerned citizens wishing to enhance the health of their communities by developing volunteer services. "We were really impressed with this video!
